  • 2 cups strawberries, chopped Choose ripe strawberries for better flavor.
  • 2 cups raspberries, mashed Mash well for a smoother jam.
  • 2 cups blackberries, mashed Fresh or thawed frozen blackberries work well.
  • 4 cups sugar Adjust sweetness as desired.
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice Freshly squeezed lemon juice is best for flavor.
  • 1 package fruit pectin (1.75 oz) Essential for achieving a thick consistency.

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, mix the strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries.
  2. Add the sugar and lemon juice, and stir until well combined.
  3. Heat the mixture over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until it comes to a full rolling boil.
  4. Stir in the fruit pectin and boil for 1-2 minutes, until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and pour into sterilized jars.
  6. Seal the jars and let cool. Store in the refrigerator or process in a water bath for a longer shelf life.

Notes

Store your jam in the fridge for about three weeks, or freeze it for longer storage. Experiment with other fruits like blueberries or cherries for variations.
