Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, bourbon, cocoa powder, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Stir in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
Baking
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is slightly puffed.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Option to drizzle chocolate sauce and sprinkle more chopped pecans on top. Store leftovers covered in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
