Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar to prepare the crust. Press it down firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Fold in diced apples, caramel sauce, cinnamon, and nutmeg into the cream cheese mixture.
Baking
- Pour the filling over the prepared crust and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set.
- Let it cool completely before cutting into bars.
Serving
- Drizzle with additional caramel sauce before serving if desired.
Notes
These bars can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 5-7 days, or frozen for up to three months. Avoid rushing the cooling process for the best texture.
