  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese Shredded or cubed, as preferred.
  • 0.5 cups almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons garlic butter Melted, can substitute with regular butter.
  • 1 count egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt Adjust according to preference.
  • Optional: herbs (like oregano or parsley) for seasoning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the mozzarella cheese and garlic butter together, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
  4. Add the melted cheese mixture and the egg to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Roll the dough out between two pieces of parchment paper to your desired thickness.
  6. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the mix. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for a month. Reheat before serving.
