- In a large pitcher, combine the apple cider and maple syrup (if using).
- Add in the cinnamon sticks and let steep for about 10 minutes to infuse that fall flavor.
- Just before serving, mix in the sparkling water or soda for the bubbly effect.
- Stir in the sliced apples and pour over ice (if desired).
