Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 8 cups Apple cider Chill for best flavor
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks For steeping
  • 4 cups Sparkling water or soda Add just before serving
  • 1/2 cup Spiced rum Optional for an adult version
  • 2 Sliced apples Freshly sliced for crunch
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup Optional for added sweetness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pitcher, combine the apple cider and maple syrup (if using).
  2. Add in the cinnamon sticks and let steep for about 10 minutes to infuse that fall flavor.
  3. Just before serving, mix in the sparkling water or soda for the bubbly effect.
  4. Stir in the sliced apples and pour over ice (if desired).
  5. For an adult twist, add a splash of spiced rum. Cheers!

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for 2-3 days. Add sparkling water just before serving to maintain fizz. Consider doubling the recipe for gatherings.
