  • 2 oz pomegranate juice Use fresh juice for best flavor.
  • 1 oz tequila
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • Salt for rimming Enhances flavor.
  • Pomegranate seeds for garnish Adds color.
  • Lime wedge for garnish For extra zest.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip it into salt.
  2. In a shaker, combine pomegranate juice, tequila, lime juice, and triple sec with ice. Shake well.
  3. Strain the mixture into the salt-rimmed glass.
  4. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and a lime wedge.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a sweeter taste, add a splash of simple syrup. You can also substitute pomegranate juice with blood orange juice for a unique twist. If you want to make it non-alcoholic, omit the tequila and use extra pomegranate juice. Leftover margaritas can be stored in the fridge for up to 48 hours.
