  • 1 ounce espresso (freshly brewed and cooled) Brew fresh to avoid bitterness.
  • 1 ounce coffee liqueur
  • 1 ounce gingerbread syrup Can substitute with vanilla syrup mixed with ground ginger.
  • Ice Use plenty.
Garnishes
  • Gingerbread cookie crumbs For garnish.
  • Cinnamon For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, and gingerbread syrup.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into a martini glass.
  4. Garnish with crushed gingerbread cookie crumbs and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Notes

For an extra frosty touch, chill your martini glass beforehand. Serve fresh for the best taste. You can prep the mixed ingredients ahead of time and store in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
