Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 10 pieces jalapeño peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Optional for frying or baking
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a deep fryer.
  2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half with the creamy cheese mixture.
Cooking
  1. If baking, place filled jalapeños on a baking sheet, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  2. If frying, coat in breadcrumbs, then fry until golden brown and crispy.
Serving
  1. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Leftovers can be kept in the fridge for about 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
