  • 2 lbs chicken breast
  • 1 lb broccoli florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth Can substitute with vegetable broth.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese More cheese can be added for extra richness.
Seasonings
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Toasting the garlic enhances flavor.
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breast in the crockpot.
  2. Add the broccoli florets on top of the chicken.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the cream mixture over the chicken and broccoli.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.

Notes

Serve with a sprinkle of fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days or frozen for 2-3 months.
