  • 1 medium onion, diced Adds flavor

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and let simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Stir in the ricotta cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot, topped with mozzarella cheese and fresh parsley.
