  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese For coating

  • 1 large egg For the egg mixture
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Mixed with egg

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the onions into rings and separate them.
  3. In a bowl, mix the parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, beat the egg and mix in the olive oil.
Coating
  1. Dip each onion ring into the egg mixture, then coat with the cheese mixture.
  2. Place the coated onion rings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  2. Serve warm as a snack or appetizer.

Notes

For best results, bake until golden without burning. Space out the rings on the baking sheet for optimal crispiness. These rings keep in the fridge for about 3 days and can be frozen for up to a month. Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
