Ingredients

For the cocktail
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar (optional) Add for additional sweetness if desired.
  • 4 ounces Moscato wine Use a sweet Moscato for best flavor.
  • 2 ounces vodka Optional; can be omitted for a non-alcoholic version.
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda For a fizzy finish.
  • Ice cubes For serving.
  • Mint leaves and extra raspberries for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine the raspberries and sugar (if using).
  2. Mash with a muddler or the back of a spoon to create a juicy puree.
  3. If you want to skip the seeds, strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve.
Mixing
  1. Add the raspberry puree, Moscato, and vodka to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Fill the shaker halfway with ice, seal it, and shake well for about 15 seconds.
Serving
  1. Grab two glasses and fill them with ice cubes.
  2. Strain the cocktail mixture evenly into the glasses.
  3. Pour ½ cup sparkling water or club soda into each glass for that bubbly finish.
  4. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a few fresh raspberries.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For storage, the cocktail holds up for about 1 day in the fridge, but the bubbles will diminish over time. Mix raspberry puree and spirits in advance, and add sparkling water before serving. Experiment with flavored vodka for a twist.
