Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 oz Tequila (I recommend Patron silver)
  • 2.5 oz Pomegranate juice
  • 2 oz Orange juice
  • 0.5 oz Orange liqueur (e.g., Cointreau)
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • ¼ tsp Vanilla extract
  • tsp Ground cinnamon
  • tsp Ground ginger
  • 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
  • 1 sprig Rosemary
  • Ginger beer (optional for a splash of fizz!)

Method

Preparation
  1. Run a slice of tangerine or orange around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip it into a cinnamon sugar mixture. Fill with ice.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine pomegranate juice, tangerine juice, tequila, orange liqueur, honey, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake for 15 seconds until it’s well-chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.
  5. Top with a splash of ginger beer for that festive fizz, if desired.
  6. Finish with a beautiful cinnamon stick for that extra touch of elegance!

Notes

You can store unmixed ingredients in the fridge for up to 5 days. For a variation, add a splash of cranberry juice or swap tequila for vodka. Vegan option: use maple syrup instead of honey.
